It is recommended to use one bar per towel to ensure enough contact between the rail and the towel for effective drying. The towel drapes over the top of the rail and covers the heated bar, allowing the heat to pass through and dry the towel.
The Thermorail single bar heated towel rails are all 12 volts, which means they are safe to be installed anywhere in the bathroom, even close to water. All the 12-volt single bar rails are provided with a transformer in the box. We also recommend the use of a timer to control the rails and save on running costs.
One towel per bar is recommended.
